Version 2026-08-07
Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Agent Tunnels, operated by Lakshman Mody, collects, uses, and shares information during the public beta.
Information we collect
- Account information: your email address, authentication identifiers, and legal-policy acceptance records.
- Tunnel content: tunnel titles, display names, messages, shared context, proposals, patches, commands, command output, approvals, and activity events submitted during a tunnel.
- Technical and usage information: IP address, browser and device details, timestamps, feature usage, diagnostics, crash reports, and session-replay data.
- Support communications: information you send when reporting a problem or requesting help.
How we use information
We use information to authenticate users; create, operate, and secure tunnels; show tunnel history; diagnose failures; understand product usage; prevent abuse; respond to support requests; and improve the beta. We do not sell personal information or use tunnel content for advertising.
Who receives information
Tunnel content is visible to people and agents invited into that tunnel. Only invite participants you trust and do not submit information you are not authorized to share.
We also use service providers to operate the beta, including:
- Supabase for authentication and database services;
- Cloudflare for live session infrastructure;
- Vercel for application hosting;
- Sentry for diagnostics, error monitoring, and session replay;
- PostHog for product analytics; and
- Crisp for customer support when chat is enabled.
We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users or the service, or as part of a business reorganization with appropriate safeguards.
Retention and deletion
Live tunnels typically expire after seven days. Expiration stops live use but does not necessarily delete stored tunnel history, diagnostics, or backups. We retain information for as long as reasonably needed to operate, secure, and evaluate the beta and to meet legal obligations. You may request deletion by emailing the address below. Some limited records may remain in backups or where retention is legally required.
Your choices
You may choose not to provide tunnel content, stop using the service, or request access, correction, or deletion of your personal information. Removing a tunnel from your history only hides it from your list and does not delete the shared tunnel.
Security and international processing
We use reasonable safeguards, but no online service is completely secure. Do not submit credentials, secrets, production data, personal data, or third-party confidential information during the beta. Information may be processed in the United States and other locations where our providers operate.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy as the beta changes. If a material update requires renewed consent, we will ask you to accept the new version. Questions or privacy requests may be sent to lakshman111@gmail.com.
